Movie Summary
Hi all,
I'm Valanderay, formerly Lawson from Gorgonnash on the Rampage battlegroup.
I've been playing Shadowdance for the majority of my time in Wotlk even though it is an inferior build to mutilate. Despite its many flaws (BUFF BACKSTAB FFS), Sub daggers is the most enjoyable spec I've played as a Rogue since the game came out 5 years ago.
More so than any other spec I feel Shadowdance really exemplifies what makes a Rogue so much fun to play- controlled burst, the ability to get in and get out quickly, and the fact that you are a really tricksy target to kill (I run 1090 resilience so Cheat Death feels pretty solid, though still not what it was in BC).
My video alternates pretty consistently between 1vn battlegrounds (including a lot of tricky flag running) and 1v2 skirmishes. I do show clips where I lose some arenas and get killed to keep things interesting.
I hope the vid showcases how much fun you can have with Sub, even though Mut is def the way to go for serious arenas.
We'll see how it goes
EDIT:
Gotten a good bit of mails about my armory. I'm currently running envenom for the gladiator push, the spec is too good since the change to improved poisons to play anything else atm.
I've also opted to go orc since I've always loved the race and I'm sick of undead. The AP racial is nice and I use the stun resist meta to give me some pretty decent stun reductions. It's helped out a lot in clutch situations in 3's so far.
Here is my armory:

Update:
Thanks a lot for the feedback so far. This was my first foray into Sony Vegas so I know I still have a lot to learn editing wise. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do next time with a little more practice.
